Cosimo Pisani came to Canada from his native Calabria in southern Italy in 1965 at the age of 16 following his sister. “When I came here I couldn’t speak English the only job I could work in is construction that’s it”

For 20 years Cosimo worked with his head in the clouds from carpenter to laborer to crane operator. The broad background gave Cosimo real world training in every aspect of construction. By 1976 he built his first house at the request of a friend. From there he worked on 2 or 3 houses a year slowly building a reputation through the best form of advertising there is: positive word of mouth.

After years of unofficially being a home builder, Cosimo made it official with the creation of Cosimo Homes in 1998 with his son Sandro.
